Tour Description
El Garrapatero beach is one of the most pristine & remote beaches on the island of Santa Cruz, 40 minutes private car ride from Puerto Ayora, you can take a half day or a complete day tour, you can grill your food, spend great time on the beach, its up to you and we can arrange it the way you want.
This great white-sanded beach has a lagoon next to it usually with flamingos inside, on the beach you can swim, kayak, and relax, (Take Mosquito repellent as there are horseflies).

What to Bring & to Use
- Food and Drinks – Bring some snacks and water since there isn’t any café or restaurant at the beach and it can get really hot during the day.
- Sunscreen – At least 50. Remember the sun in the Equator burns you more easily than in other places.
- Mosquito Repellent – The beaches on the Galápagos islands, especially at sunset, have a lot of mosquitos and usually also horseflies or “Tabanos” as they are called in Spanish and they are silent and leave you with a huge unpleasant swollen bite.
- GoPro/Camera – Of course, you can’t forget your camera to record this once-in-a-lifetime experience.
